For over 16 years (since 2008), WEWA has been a powerful force in empowering women across Tamil Nadu, with over 25,238 active members. Our mission is to uplift women from all walks of life—particularly college students, senior citizens, and those facing hardships such as poverty, lack of education, disability, widowhood, single parenthood, or social exclusion. WEWA provides tailored training, mentoring, counselling, and handholding support to build confidence and self-reliance. We create awareness on entrepreneurship and link women to opportunities and assistance from both Government and Non-Government agencies. Through customized skill development programs aligned with market trends, and buyer-seller meets that connect entrepreneurs directly with customers, we help women turn their aspirations into sustainable livelihoods.
